NAV 2009 SP1 NDT

There seems to be some issue when you try to have NAV 2009 SP1 using the latest NDT version 3.01.410.

I just came across an article from MS for resolving this issue.

Hope this link helps you!

Internal Error 47-1

Recently I faced an issue with the database which was present in NAV 5.0 SP1. Whenever we were taking the backup of the database, it started giving an error "Internal Error 47-1". We tried to take a fob of the all the objects in the database but again we failed as the same error was present.

On a bit of reaserch we came across a KB article of MS which provides an insight of the Internal error 47-1. (https://mbs2.microsoft.com/Knowledgebase/kbdisplay.aspx?wtntzsmnwukntmmymxtyykswtlkqnnoxmvlmwwnsowtuxkvw). The issue arises when a NAV 5.0 SP1 database is opened with NAV 2009 SP1 exe, it doesnot prompts for the database to upgrade but simply upgrades it, as a result of which you will find NAV 2009 SP1 objects being internally created resulting in the error message.

The most possible fix to the same is to have a technical upgrade from NAV 5.0SP1 to NAV 2009 SP1. The other way out for the same is to get in touch with the MS Support team.
